Mine sucks as well. It's cool at the 6 setting but not cold. Yesterday, while wearing sandals, I felt water dripping on my right foot while on the gas pedal. Condensation had built up so much on the air flow tubing that it was dripping. I'll have to bring it in to get it checked out. Anyone else have this issue?

My 10 year old VW has colder AC than this car and it was never recharged.

I keep mine on recirculation mode. I normally only have to put the blower on 1. If the car has been in the sun for 9+ hours on a hot day, then I'll usually put it on 3 or 4, for a while. It works very well. I get the best results by just making the air come out of the top, instead of having it come out of the top and bottom.

I usually leave mine on fresh air, as the car (with its own mind, apparently) will switch between recirc and fresh on its own. This is also stated in the owner's manual. I'll manually select recirc, either by setting the temp to full cold, which is max and selects recirc automatically, or I'll hit the recirc button if the car has been sitting for a length of time in the sun.

My car is black, I live in Phoenix and I don't have a garage or covered parking...and mine works fine. I've never turned the fan up past 10 and I usually have it around 5 after driving a few miles.

Mine sucks... I have to drive for about 20-30 minutes before it starts to get noticably cold. My old GTO would freeze you right out of the car!

I'm actually dropping my Camaro off at the dealership tonight to have the A/C situation assessed... I imagine they will tell me nothing is wrong

mine sucks too... I had mine check by the dealer and they told me it was to spec. The A/C works good unless the temp goes over 85 degrees, but this is when I need it most!

They just called me and said the car is done... They said they evacuated the system and it had the proper amount of refrigerant, performed a vacuum and refill. They said it's normal.

They did some kind of temp analysys and claim at 84 deg ambient, it's blowning 37 degree air. Maybe right at the duct opening. The fan blows so slow it sure doesn't feel like 37 by the time it gets to me.

Going to pick it up here in about 15 minutes, we'll see how it is.
