Something needs to happen in Vegas! Seems like it would be a great spot for a Fest.

Def not our intent to be "The new Fest". Camaro5 has an awesome thing going, and in now way do we want to step on their toes.

That said, our event has all the basic ingredients, so if (like myself) you weren't able to make the Fest this year (due to distance, money, whatever) I'm hoping our event will make a nice alternative.

Bottom line is, we just want a fun, memorable event for all- at a reasonable cost and driving distance from everyone.

Cheers.

WHoa! don't knock Bakersfield.. sorry we aren't as "cool" as you and Sonoma, but the whole point of people coming out here is to race and hang out with fellow car junkies. it has nothing to do with how much stuff there is to do here, also Bakersfield is pretty much a centralized point for our SoCal and Nor Cal family. If we had more people coming out from lets say Oregon or Seattle... it might make sense to move it. Bakersfield isn't a SET local, however we do have a pretty good repore with the dealership here who sponsers this shindig..
P.S. i've been to Sonoma and the wine there isn't as good as what we have here in Paso...

Btw... not to knock anyones efforts for hotel reservations.... but i've found a hotel that is only 13 miles from the track off the I-5 and Hwy 58 (Rosedale).
http://tinyurl.com/cbzjymu

Best Western Heritage Inn
253 Trask Street
Bakersfield, CA 93314
Ph: 661-764-6268

Room rate of $76.50 + tax ask for the corporate rate.
It's located off the I-5 and Hwy 58. there are truck stops near it which means late night noms.. Wendys, Blimpies, Subway, McDonalds etc. They actually have vacancies.

Its not in town like the Marriott but its an alternative to the $119. if that might be the deciding factor on whether or not you join us. i drove by there this am, didn't have time for pictures but it doesn't look bad, i'd park there. Might want to Google Maps the place and see for yourself.

Hope this helps some of you out.
