You're probably right. But it may be quoting a different pulley shipped with that one. It just depends on wether they have a bigger pulley than what comes stock and if they are quoting it as going on an all stock ZL1. Says the only difference is the intercooler. It's based on the CTS-V so probably around 9 pounds still.

Seems I remember the 9 pounds so I'm sure that's it.

For max power head porting is a MUST!! There are big benefits to higher flowing exaust port. And yes. Ported Intake ports are less of a gain on a blower car versus natural aspirated but gains are still there

With a 2.55 upper and 10% overdrive balancer (8.6 lower?) listed in the mods list, I would guess 14psi. Other things that affect the boost have been done to the car though like the CAI, cam, exhaust, etc.

Owens was 7-9 lbs stock 18 or 19 modded w/ same stuff as this one. Said around 5500 it's 19 and then drops off slightly at the top. In car guage goes to 15 and he said it stays pegged.

While I don't see the same conclusion, thanks for the pdf link.

Actually its the bi-polar opposite. You will see exponential increases with ported heads on a FI over NA. For every 15psi of boost you're increasing the volume by 1 atmosphere for the same given capacity. So even a fraction of an inch increase is surface area (flow volume) will have an exponential increase over how an NA engine can flow the same volume. The higher the boost the more exponential increase you will see.

14.7 lbs of boost is one atmosphere, not 1 lb of boost.
