I sold my Camaro today. My plan was to keep it always, and add a supercharger when it was paid off, but Chevrolet messed with my mind by coming out with the ZL1, so I will likely be Camaro free for a couple years while I save and wait for a used ZL1 to drop into the right price range.

I drove it for the last time today and still love it, but I was worried about depreciation over the next couple years so I let her go.

Sorry Mark. Good luck waiting for a ZL1. Sorta wish I'd done the same thing. But glad to have mine in the meantime. Might just pass on a Z though, and add a supercharger like you were planning. That way, I don't have to start over with the payments. I guess you should keep your account. There's tons of members waiting on ZL1's too. I think your status would be 0000, though.

Don't stress...you may be doing it right!...never a bad idea to wait one or two model years til they get all the kinks worked out (if any) and make minor adjustments and improvements...If getting another one is your plan, smart move on selling now!...Good luck

Wagon looks good.

Had my 96 Imp SS since new, hard to sell it even though I hardly drive it.

sooo u sold your camaro to wait a few years to get the zl1. i guess if as long as you broke even with selling your camaro. other wise i do not see the logic

The 2012 ZL1 is limited production now!! You'll have to wait for a used 2013 ZL1!!!!!

I don't know why, but I love those things. They were just a *little* before my time--I didn't get my license until 1998, but as the years went on I've grown to appreciate them more and more.
