Camaro ZL1 vs. Nissan GTR Inde Motorsports Ranch Lap Times

ZL1- 1:41.29
GT-R- 1:40.45

Ok guys I know there has been a lot of complaining regarding the Zl1/GTR comparison. Here are the times from fastestlaps.com. This shows a much closer split in lap times.

http://www.fastestlaps.com/cars/nissan_gt-r_mk_iii.html
http://www.fastestlaps.com/cars/chev...maro_zl-1.html

This ZL1 suprises me more and more every day

What do you guys think? .84 Second lap difference? This is pretty dang close.

Impressive. Cool to see the ZL1 competing with a car that cost $40k more.

Wonder who was driving the GT-R? The list doesn't show.

Me personally,I was glad to see it only 2.8 sec behind the GT-R with same driver.

The next couple months are going to be angst filled waiting on this car. I plan on going to VIR & Road Atlanta this spring.

That is some incorrect information posted for the GT-R. It's got no reference either, and as one of the comments on there states, no way was it run in Configuration 4. 1:40.xx lap time on a 2.75 mile configuration? I don't think so.

i dont know. if anything that just shows how that track seems to favor all out HP more than all out handling. id still like to see more Boss vs ZL1 comparisons and of course the big boy 2012 GT500 and perhaps the 2013 Gt500

kinda hokie that theres no driver listed though.......

I'm on here every day and I don't think I've ever heard you say something positive. You really have nothing better to do? That is one of the most reputable time websites there are. Stop questioning things and take them at face value. OMG oh no! A Camaro completely outperformed your expectations. If you posted something valuable on here I'd agree with you, and I wouldn't be looking for ways to disprove everything.
