I know. I changed insurance companies (because Esurance, who I have been with for 7 years, was attempting to RAPE me with the Camaro!), and my new policy is supposed to start on Wednesday. I think I may need to call them to up my date.

seriously? you were a 10/10 tpw? my car was built on 10/12, here we are 10/20 and no movement. wtf? i still have to go 4200 to the stripe plant, then 4B00 after stripes, then 4200 again for the ship to my dealer...this could freakin' take weeks. i honestly don't have a loaner car that long...i'm going to have to start looking locally for an alternative :(

The Chevy website has all the new 2012 Corvette manuals now. There is a link for a Camaro 2012 Coupe, and a Camaro 2012 Convertible. Both links take you to the GTK manual.
It did work for me, maybe they will fix it. Others were also able to download. I will forward to others if need be, but looks like others have that covered.

I got more bad news...seems that having a VIN assigned doesn't mean jack. They do not think my car has been completed at this point. Apparently they told my dealer it had been built last week because it had a VIN. Turns out the VINs are assigned when the cars go to 3000. So at this point, no one knows nada

Aw, I feel bad that I'm giddy with excitement when you and Evan are having issues/hold ups. :-/

But... our cars are in Mesquite, TX now! I think Jonny said that's the point that we separate. My dealer emailed me and said that I should get my car Saturday or Monday, but if it's less than an hour drive away from the yard, will it really take that long? I want my car NOW.

Mesquite is where they disembark the train and get loaded to trucks for transport. From what I understand, the changing of shipment methods will take a little extra time. Mine will take ~a week to get across Texas

yeah, actually eric confirmed yesterday my car is officially on hold. i don't have a loaner car for much longer, so i'm actually looking at alternatives now.

good to know it only took about a week for your car to come in though.

Evan - I feel you. Seems as though mine started on the line last week, but has not been completed...CS and my dealer confirmed that there will likely be no way to ever tell what the reason for the holdup was (in my particular situation), because technically the status is still correct (somewhere between 3400 and 3800). Stay tuned sports fans...

inaccurate info. Mine is mia. cresson trucking was supposed to have received it and shipped it on the 18th, but today the have no records of my VIN in there system. who knows. then the dealer has to install the ground effects once it arrives.

Mine was built on the 6th and took a week for stripes. It finally left on the 14th. I don't know where Leechburg is, but I'd bet you'll have it by Wednesday. I'm in SoCal and will probably get it the same day.

EDIT - probably not! My guess - Friday at earliest with ground effects.

Don't look too hard. You've got a great dealer, so you never know what strings he's capable of pulling.

I went in today to finance my car, so she's signed, sealed and not delivered, but officially mine! I'm going to pick her up Monday, after they do the tint.
