I called and said I receive no updates from the dealer and my car is sitting around and she asked who my dealer was and put me on hold and called them to see what was going on.

Yeah it's weird, i called that number and they said that "My car was in transit to the dealership".

After the good news i was super excited...then i got a call from my dealership (they are always straight with me) and the sales manager told me that he has been looking into the issue and talked to some managers at GM who told him that the car was still in Oshawa.

Then he told me that GM customer service reps were calling HIM to find out where the car was...he was baffled....

so i'm confused as to how this has happened...

I half expect them to call and say they are going to cancel my order or maybe say "sorry for all the trouble your car was deemed unfit for delivery so we built you an SS instead for all your troubles"

lol

It is really is unbelievable how poorly run the shipping of cars is by GM.

The best part of this whole ordering process will be when I pickup the car this week and not have to call or hear from GM or the dealership again.

I just literally screamed at a GM rep...for some reason I think it will make my car arrive any faster...but i feel like a douche...and it won't make anything come faster....

Edit:

I can't believe it...it actually worked...my car is going to be at the South Carolina Distribution Center tomorrow!!!

Dealer says tomorrow. I asked him if he can pick me up at work when the car comes in and he said "sure can". There are some perks to living in a small town.

one of the cool things driving around in my camaro is I noticed that the car turns alot of heads

Sadly that is the only way GM or the delalers respond. The nicer we are to them the more they think they can push us around. When we get pissed then they listen.....

I can't believe it after being super excited about gm telling me that my car would be in south Carolina tomorrow, they are telling me today that the car is still at the production facility and there will be no further updates until monday

Absolutely!! I thought it was just me and my Camaro drooling . But I see the same thing every day I drive my Camaro. People look, stare, point, and give thumbs-up.
