I believe that most of these ( Grundy, Hagerty etc.) policies are written with 100/300K liability coverage. I had Grundy insure my 2008 Bullitt Mustang for 8 years and back then 100/300 K was the limit.
As we know, lawsuits are awarded for dizzying amounts to the most seriously injured auto accident victims. Declaring bankruptcy is often required but even then the guilty could have wage garnishment for a very long time.
Stated value is great and you'll get good bucks for your totaled or stolen vehicle, but what if an accident is my fault and the court award is say 1 mil ?

So for now, I'm sticking with the insurer who has our 3 vehicles. I plan to do an apples to apples comparison and will likely check with Hagerty to check on their limits of liability.

Tried to switch over to Hagerty but they denied me because I'd made a hail damage claim 2 years ago. No accidents, great credit score and many, many positive points on my license.

I need insurance in Florida where I can leave my car in the driveway. Hagertys and Grundy you need to have it in a locked garage.

100/300 K liability won't be enough to cover an accident victim who survives with permanent paralysis or loss of a limb.
Sorry to be a source of doom. I don't work in the insurance industry but can say with a high degree of certainty that 100/300 limits of liability won't cover even one serious accident victim(where the insured is found to be negligent or guilty) and God forbid if there are multiple victims in that same vehicle.

There are many young(er) Camaro fans on this forum who possibly ignore that piece of insurance. If you are found at fault and the courts issue a judgement to the victims of say a million or more, you are screwed for life.
Personally, I have 500K with an Umbrella policy that brings me up to a max payout for exactly one million. That's the most I could find but it's 700K better than 100/300K.

P.S.- I'm a retired educator who once taught high school driver's education. Over the years, we had presentations to our students on everything related to driving- including insurance.
Sad fact, but we live in a very litigious society.

Erie insurance with everything bundled 250,000/500,000 for a 24 LT1 is $568 per year.

I went from a 2023 SS to a 2023 ZL1 and my premium rose quite a bit with AAA. I tried to look at Haggerty and they denied me. I have a Perfect record and car is Garaged. Maybe because I live where I live. Theft chances are extremely high.
I also find that most insurance companies do not repair with original GM parts unless you pay extra. Noting worse then a fender that doesn't line up

Holy crap. This is a sobering post. I need to check my limits on all my vehicles and my teenage kiddos on my policy. I have been lucky to not need this but you never know.......

I have 500K with an Umbrella policy that brings me up to a max payout for exactly one million too. I did this (shopped) at retirement a number of years ago. Just pulled the papers out to confirm. I agree with everything you said.

Hagerty insurance is a mixed bag imo. Maybe good for older cars you can't get a reasonable value insured for, but I declined to go with them for a couple reasons.

As mentioned, liability with Hagerty may not be sufficient. My liability coverage with USAA, which also includes a $1M umbrella policy, is much better than Hagerty.

USAA covers instructional driving events. I called them and they told me non-timed HPDEs are covered. This may not have always been the case, but it seems to be now. Please don't take my word for it, it may vary by state.

Hagerty's insurance wouldn't cover concrete barriers. It's a specific exclusion that makes their insurance endorsement, which cost $350 or more per year, worthless.

FWIW, you can adjust your coverage limits with Hagerty. I needed 250/500 limits to maintain the umbrella policy I carry. It was no problem to get that through Hagerty.

They do have less liability coverage but it did not effect my umbrella the 100k limit was ok for my umbrella insurance minimum, however they wanted me to put in writing I would not allow my son to drive my cars because he got into a minor accident (less then 2 k damage). Would have been 1500 less for both cars combined. I refused, I am teaching him and my daughter how to drive manuals and in a perfect world these will be there's someday. They would not adjust the liability coverage here , said that was the limit.

If they know the car is modded they will either turn you away or the rate gets high enough that you stay with current provider. I talked with them in depth and they only want stock cars that gets driven to cars and coffee a few times a year. They said that if insured and they find its been modded afterwards without them being made aware, they deny any claim.
