Did anyone get the suede knee pads?

I had got them on my first order, asked my dealer what he thought of them and he said it felt like a suede material wrapped on a hard plastic. Wasn't impressed. I'm thinking the leather ones might be the way to go. Will probably pick up some red ones down the road.

The leather ones are the same, leather wrapped around hard plastic...IMO, the suede ones look better.

Wonder if the leather is softer? He said it didn't feel like there was any padding at all.

I am wondering the same thing. The hard plastic leather isn't too comfortable. I would prefer if the suede has extra padding.

Yes bought the Suede ones from the ZL1 for my SS.
They look amaze, but padding is minimal.

I have a set you made for me and after over a year. They still clean easy and look great. The extra padding is much welcomed, for long drives. Your work is great too.

I bought the suede ones and like them quite a bit more than the plastic ones. It is still hard but not as hard....if that makes any sense. But as the guy above stated, there are some good looking cushioned ones that members are making that look like they would be extra comfy

If you can afford it go suede wherever you can. Why wouldn’t you? Unless you’re somehow turned off by softer things or drive around with a wet dog all the time.
