L99 camshaft position sensor
Does anyone know the correct part number for the 10-15 l99 camshaft sensor ? 12591720 is what I see pop up but I’m not sure if it’s the correct sensor in the car or not . Been having trouble for quite some time then the engine light came on . Scanned it and that turned out to be the problem. Just trying to find the correct replacement . Any help would be appreciated , thanks

12591720 is the correct part # for that. You may want to diagnose which code you are getting though first, a cam sensor code doesn't always mean the sensor is bad, but hopefully it is something simple like that.

This is true. The last time I had an evap code, which my tuner forgot to turn off in the tune, along with an 02 code, the cam sensor came up as well. It wasn't a problem, then when I had a TCM code for the output speed sensor, the cam sensor came up there too. Never once did we have to mess with the cam sensor..

Diagnose? What does that mean? If a code happens name a sensor, that can only mean replace that sensor?
