We have some high volume Corvette dealers in Michigan, but I asked the sales manager at Matick who does all the Vettes, and he told me it doesn't help him get Camaro allocations. I got my 2SS from a tiny dealership up north before he could get a 2SS at Matick.

And with that low a # for the CE i'm guessing will see at least 1 (maybe VIN 001) at BJ or Mecum auction.

Even then, most dealers won't even get one. There are going to be over 2600 dealers that won't even see one.

Wouldn't you assume so?
I imagine the car won't lose much of its attractiveness when the production stops - rather the opposite.

It is not like some unremarkable mainstream compact sedan is being discontinued after being produced for over a decade, right?

If buying it new is no longer an option, wouldn't we expect that the recent year low mileage babied Camaros will quickly become the next best option?

Maybe not for those who prefer the "elevator motor" sound of an EV to the rumble of the NPP... :-)

It would be interesting to see how these allocations are being rolled out to the dealers.

With this package costing $15k on the ZL1s, most of these vehicle will end up being garage queens.

I’m sure large volume dealers will see at least 1 or 2. Besides Collectors Editions, how about the new colors on these cars which will be a 5 month production. Nitro Yellow Metallic or Riptide Blue on a ZL1 or 1LE. Nitro Yellow Metallic with Black Rally Stripes kind of makes for a Gen 6 Bumblebee car.

The allocations start on 6/15. When do you think it'll be updated time wise for dealers to be able to order this based on previous events/years? I'm first on my local dealers list and have been asking them about this car for about 18 months now. Pressuring them now that the time is coming.

I hope you get what you’re looking for but have a back up plan just in case especially if you aren’t really close with that dealership. I’ve read some terrible stories of dealerships not honoring any verbal agreements even once a customer car was delivered on the lot. Highest bidder would show up and scoop up orders so just giving you a heads up. Dealers are some of the scummiest people on earth and most only live by the golden rule.

Good luck to everyone in this pursuit … gotta say that matte black is pretty sweet in my eyes. Probably not practical for the track but there is no reason this paint code shouldn’t be available to the 24 ZLE.
