Oh, that's nice, I didn't know, thanks.

Actually, if I squint hard enough, that sweet CT5-V Blackwing is a bit like what a 4-door ZL1 could be... how nice it would be to get a 2024 farewell edition ZL1 with that same BW powertrain and other updates.

Isn't there a pretty solid chance 2023 is it for Camaro? Or has there been a commitment to a 2024MY?

No commitment as far as I know, but then I'm just a regular Camaro owner, maybe GearheadSS, DC Chevy Sales, DylansZLE, Martinjlm, LeonardS or someone closer to the horse's mouth would be able to tell (the problem is if they could, they probably won't )

The extra 18 HP? No. The updated MRS for the non 1LE ZL1? Yes.

I took it easy for the first 500 miles. I didn’t go WOT or over 4000 rpm’s. At 504 miles I changed the oil and diff fluid and let er rip!

The only thing I haven’t done yet per the manual is burnish the brakes. I’m really putting that one off because it looks like a PITA lol

It definitely is. Put aside a good hour to do properly and make sure your tank is full. I've done it 3 times now and burned through 2/3 of a tank each time doing it.

Your car chugged 12-13 gallons of fuel doing simple brake burnishing (my understanding of which is in the attached pic)? How, or what am I missing?

If you really have read a lot about it then you know you won’t get a definitive answer. They will range from go by the manual to do this because my Grandpa’s Model T lasted 1.2 million miles and didn’t burn a drop of oil.

you also have to consider that you are not just breaking in the engine. Pretty much anything that rotates is going through that process as well.

from 2017 manual. To me 4000 rpm meant 4999 and 80 mph meant 89.9

The “0.6mi between stops” is what kills me. Did you do a full .6mi between each stop or were your stops closer together?

Well I personally use all the gears it has to so that engine could experience every bit of load on every bit of rpm, I don't let it go past 50% of the rpm, for example if your red line is at 8K, rev it up only to 4K for the first 500 Miles, After 500Miles, push it a little hard up to 6500RPM and not more than that, change your first Engine oil at 1K miles and second at 3K miles
