Just get the NPP, save your exhaust money for other mods. At least wait a few months and see if you like the NPP. Honestly, I have absolutely no desire to go to an aftermarket exhuast. I've owned a built bullet muffler monster LS1 and it was awesome and loud but I love my ZL1's NPP much more.

I went to a AWE exhaust on my C7 GS and loved it! Only downside was the AWE lost NPP function, so it was always loud. This time around I’m going with a more expensive aftermarket NPP style system like the Corsa, just so I can leave early without waking all my neighbors. It’s nice to be able to cut down on noise at will. Cold start is always loud as engineers want to get the cats hot for emissions purposes. Valves are temporarily wide open. But it only last a short time.
