My 2010 L99 is making 500 RWHP / 457 RWTQ. Over 100,000 miles on stock bottom end. GPI rodmod, GPI SS3 cam, GPI ported tb, GMPP ported heads, TSP 1/7/8 headers, Melling 10596 pump, Circle D 4200 converter, 3.91 rear, DSS aluminum shaft. Still at stock compression. Yes, it's doable, and driveability is fair. Tuned by Mitch Trahan at Tuned By Norm, Houma, La.

I'm installing GPI Stage 2 VVT in the next couple months. WILE I have the heads off I'm going to have them CNC ported with bowl/valve blending. I did the GPI VVT3 cam, ported heads and rod mod intake . They send you everything you need all nicely matched. Charge you a core for the heads and intake. This makes you get it done faster LOL.
