backup camera guide lines

So, i did a quick forum search and didn't see anything addressing this issue.
Here's the deal:
My backup camera works, but the guide lines no longer show. I have an appointment with dealer this Thursday morning on 11/12 (still under warranty). Has anyone else experienced this? Regardless of repair cost, I assume the warranty will cover. My COMPLETE guess is a fuse or something, but what do I know.

I might be wrong but I think there is something in your settings on the home screen under back camera to add or remove the back up lines. ?

There is, but it's weird that they just disappeared. Settings > Rear Camera > Guidance lines, on or off

I'll check settings, didn't even think of that. But yes, it is weird that the lines just stopped.

There might be a button you can press on the screen while in reverse that shuts them off as well. Might have bumped it at some point and shut them off, although I don't fully recall if this is in the 2019 or not.

When you are in reverse, there is a button in the bottom left corner of the screen that turns the guide lines on and off. Click that and report back.

Mine disappeared too one day and i had to go into that page to turn them back on. It was weird, never lost battery power, nothing else reset (engine management settings, steering settings, radio etc).

i took car to dealer and they "politely" informed me that there is a button on the bottom left of screen that enables/disables the guide lines. I even got a loaner car (for 30 minutes max ... shortest loaner in history maybe). I didn't intentionally press, but the button does in fact turn on/off guide lines. Complete user error. I profusely apologized to tech. Sometimes i just feel old!

i was looking under "settings" to find a back up camera option. I didn't realize the little "ladder looking" button on back up screen was the guideline on/off switch. Duh!!

It was probably in the manual and you didn't see it.

These cars come with an owners manual, what will they think of next?

Is there a way to make the gridlines bolder or show up more? I can barely see them when in reverse

Thank you! Good info! I love those guide lines. The wife's Subie doesn't have them. She thinks I'm a parking god!
If they ever go away I'll know what to do!
