Ok ! You have two ZL1'sI know one's a manual and the other a auto, would you trade both for a ZR1 ?

For reliability, my money is on the lower stress, lower boost ZL1 - the 911 is running about 20 psi and heaven help you if you need to work on it yourself, take it to the P car dealer and get bent over.

The Carrera S beat the C8 and the C8 has been destroying the Z06. So how did this guy beat or keep up with a Turbo S ?

It was a roll race - all that matters is hp and aerodynamics, weight is less of a factor

Bull crap. Weight is absolutely a major factor from a roll.

Z06 driver cant drive or doest know how to launch the car. In all three races the car bogged at the start.

Weight is always a factor, but it's less of a factor the faster you are going because drag starts to dominate which slows acceleration. Acceleration is the only reason weight matters, so the slower you are accelerating, the less weight is affecting the race. For example, a ZLE gets walked by a hellcat at high speeds even though it's several hundred pounds lighter, but only down 60hp.

Your right. All those launches looked weak.

What you are saying are factors but the Hellcat example is a bit of a moot point as they've been proven to be underrated (either at the crank or have very little drivetrain loss). There is about a 500lbs difference but the Hellcat makes about 100 more rwh than the ZL1 does.
60-150 roll race with and without passengers and you will see the clear difference weight still factors in.

Cars like the Tesla performance, C8 and Carrera biggest advantage is the abiltiy to put the power down off the dig. Once traction and gearing arent a factor, the bigger power cars like the ZL1, Z06, hellcat will easilly gap those cars from a highway roll.

A better way to put it is if you're accelerating half as much then weight becomes half as much of a factor, etc. At 150mph, its effectively horsepower fighting drag. You are barely accelerating. You are probably accelerating at 1/10th of what you would be at 30mph, so weight would be 1/10th as important at 150mph as it would be at 30mph (the 1/10th is a pure guess - too lazy to do the math right now).

That's hard to believe about the hellcat power, but I'll take your word for it. Pretty crazy if so.
