I just completed the install of this very same kit this past weekend. Using the DashCommand app and just looking at the difference before and after I see the same kind of HP change. I must say that overall I liked the kit, but I thought there were a few items that could have been a little better engineered. The power gain is impressive though.

I am sure that there will be naysayers that disagree with the article statement of the LT1 air efficiency and that adding cams and heads is not cost effective. I also notice the fuel ratio was staying at ~12 on the dyno at 7psi of boost with the stock fuel system on the canned tune.

I'm sure there's plenty more with a custom tune.

Anybody that uses STD for HP gains on a FI engine should not write for a performance magazine.

I bought this kit after reading that article. I got the canned tune and it ran 562hp on the dyno. After the dyno tune it hit 615hp on a Mustang dyno. Only other thing done to the car is Corsa cat back. It was almost 220hp difference and still gets 27 mpg on the highway.

You need to back that down a bit the stock fuel system will only support 580 RWHP anything over that is dancing on the landmines.

All LT1 failures were from running more than 580 on Stock fuel system

I know what your low side pressure is doing without a fuel pump voltage booster also, so you should really consider a JMS fuel pump voltage booster along with backing down the power.

Target Lambda should be .82 or 12.0 AFR anything leaner is asking for failure.

Ted.

Mine is a 1LE and was told it had the same fuel pump as a ZL1. I asked him about the fueling because Ive heard it being an issue on some.

Your power is primarily limited by the DI High Pressure Pump (which is the same an all LT1s), not the low pressure in-tank pump which you are referring to.
