2nd ECM Tune only Bone Stock ZL1 in the 10's this month.
This has to be the easiest car in history to get to run 10's. This is the second one out of the five I tuned this month that I have received track times back for. This on is bone stock like the last one with just an ECM tune.

I wasn't tuning or building them then. So I should say, no one else's ZL1 has impressed me. Or at least hadn't at the time.

Stock front / rear wheels and tires or what? Nice runs regardless. Why the secrecy of the track location?

This car is also remote tuned.
We will be going after the stock blower record in a couple weeks with just bolt ons and my ported Blower/snout/95mm TB. Stay tuned.

at least two guys have documented 10's with the A10 ZL1 100% stock, factory tires, factory tune.
makes sense that a tune would make it easier with the stock setup

Those were money runs in negative DA correct. Like iced down, towed to the line at private, glued down rental stuff I believe.

definitely ideal conditions. And both of those guys have serious drag strip pedigrees. Average or even an above average driver won't get 10's on stock setup. But as mentioned, should be easier with a tune

Very nice... I'd like to see if that GM eLSD calibration would improve the 60' times.
Although I'd be damn happy with a .70 on a stock car with tune. |
