Agreed. On the street that is a killer. Lot of power on 12lbs of boost. Keeping it street friendly is always the way with me.

I have a direct port nitrous system on my Magnuson Heartbeat. Forged motor stroked to 396ci. Trickflow 255 Gen X heads prepared by BTR with his stage 3 PD blower cam. It makes just over 1000 on a 150 shot. A6 transmission

I made 490 rwhp 469 rwtq on my 416 nitrous motor built for a 400 shot. I had a 300 shot direct port never dyno'd it on spray, but you can just add 300 +/- a little bit to that motor dyno number

Now we're talking. CLean install on the nitrous plate. I talked to those guys about building one for myself and the price is actually very reasonable for the power that it will make.

I`m curious, how hard do you have to work to stay on the tune to keep it healthy and what fuel are you running. I`m guessing C16 or something similar. I keep telling every one that two turbos is dual power adders so adding nitrous to a supercharged car just evens everything up.

Great looking car and great looking system. Thanks for posting.

I`m still looking for the 900 WHP nitrous only system on a 5th gen.
For those that don`t remember the story, I raced a car claiming to be at 900 on a nitrous system. Short story, it wasn`t . The search continues.

900 nitrous only lol. I put little over 700 down and would hate to imagine additional 200 shot being added to sbe and a6

Thank you. When the car was built I got three tunes. Pump gas, VP Ms109 Race fuel, and VP Ms109/nitrous. Jetted for 150 shot. I data log pretty much every pass at the track on HP tuners and email the logs to the tuner when I get a chance. First trip to the track he had to make a few revisions. Mostly shift points for the transmission. After that the tunes have never been changed. I’m still on the same set of plugs after 3 seasons. Lol. I have a squash fuel system and pull the fuel off the regulator for the wet shot so I don’t even need a stand-alone for the nitrous.

That’s the kind of diligence that it takes to make power on nitrous and do it with some longevity. It’s big time power per dollar invested. It’s gotten a bad rap because of some overlooking details when managing octane and timing. If I start running a system maybe you can assist me with some tuning help.
