Production numbers.
I sent an email and this is the response I got from GM. Hope it helps.
Production numbers indicate the following: -There were 880 2018 Camaro (2SS w/the A1Y Performance Package) produced for the global market. -There were 1249 Red Hot 2018 Camaro 2SS produced for the global market (we cannot break this number down by performance package). -There were 6769 2018 Camaro 2SS with sunroof produced for the global market (we cannot break this number down by performance package). -There were 6769 2018 Camaro 2SS with 6 spd manual trans produced for the global market (we cannot break this number down by performance package). |

Here's what I came up with for 2018 ZL1 production based on SINSSTR's #s in this post:
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...02&postcount=7 I have not seen total production yet. Only sales #s for USA, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and South Korea which would put total production in the 56,000-58,000 range. |

Mike,
Thank you for posting the list. I’ve been wondering the build counts on the 2018 ZL1’s And breakdown on coupe, manual and color. Extrapolating the data, There aren’t as many as I would have thought, Not quite a unicorn, but close Thanks again Dave

I contacted GM Heritage and they wouldn't give me any spread sheet or in-depth break down of my car even with option codes. All they could tell is how many overall black SS's were produced, how many 1LE's were produced which included all colors (said they couldn't break it down to just black 1LE's, and then how many Camaro's have my hood grand sport looking thing on it. SO didn't really get any usable information.

Back in '85 they built Camaro's in Van Nuts Ca. I purchased one of the California Value Package Iroc Z's. What the factory did for me was use my vin to track down the particular code of that verion of the car. There were only 500 built of which 250 were red and 250 were black.
I had the 105th one built of the 500. Even got a letter from them stating such. I really liked that car even though it wasn't very powerful but it handled well for the time in which it was built. Seems like getting such info is harder to achieve these days.

Any 2019 Camaro production numbers yet
Is it still too early to get the production numbers for 2019 camaro's... since the production is already begun for 2020 model year

Agreed..., but as for the 2020 model year we can expect to see the lowest production numbers, in comparison to low production numbers seen during 4th , 5th and 6th generation Camaro's.
This strike will be a long one. |
