White Lightning...The Story Continues
HELLO!!
I'm back! For those of you who don't know me, I'll give you a some backstory. I joined back in 2010 at the age of 18 when my parents purchased me a used 2010 IOM V6 Camaro for an early High School graduation gift in Dec. 2009. My dad told me my entire life growing up that if I worked hard in school and went to college he would get me a car that I wanted (within reason) as a reward for all the hard work. I desperately tried to get the SS that was on the lot but he drew the line there I guess! That car gave me the "car bug" and it's all downhill (or uphill?) from there. I graduated High School a few months later and went off to Auburn studying Aviation and Supply Chain Management. After spending so much time on the forums and looking at all the upgrades available to the SS, I had my eyes set on one of those middle of 2011. During this time, my father had a 2010 GT Mustang and I learned to drive stick on it. I fell in love with the V8 power and knew I wanted the same in a Camaro. After earning good grades my first year and a half at Auburn, I came home for Christmas break in 2011 and my parents told me they wanted me to find a SS that I liked. After a week or so searching, I found a used 2012 2SS/RS with around 600 miles on it and was fortunate enough to be able to get it. I didn't do much performance wise to it while I was in college except for headers and a tune. Once I graduated from Auburn in 2014 and started working full time in Atlanta, I took over payments on the SS and soon after sent it in for a cam. Original Build Thread https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=189924 I ended up getting in a wreck with the Camaro in August 2016 and had a little over $11,000 in damage with no frame damage. After fixing it up nice with all intentions on keeping it, (I was $4k from it being paid off) the car never felt or drove the same. I was unable to get the vibrations out of the car and once I got them out at highway speeds, they came back at slower speeds. After spending around $1000 on trying to fix, I decided it was time for a change. The Wreck Post Wreck Renovations to the SS April of 2017 I ended up trading in the Camaro for a new 2017 Corvette Stingray 1LT. It was a fun little car and got all the looks, but I was missing the cam lope and some of the creature comforts like HUD and heated seats. I also scraped that car on EVERYTHING around town. It sat so low and when I added the splitter and side skirts it only got worse. It didn't bother me so much when I first got it, but as time went on the lack of room in the cabin and no separated trunk space started to be annoying as a daily driver. Now here we are present time and I started looking around to get back in the Camaro game. I had been looking at ZL1s for about a month or two and one Wednesday night late August I found a 2017 White ZL1 with right around 3800 miles on it. I went the next day after work and bought it after 5 excruciating hours primarily negotiating the trade in value on the Corvette. So here I am back at the age of 26...after a short hiatus...ready to meet new people and eventually see just how much power I can put down in the Z. It's my first boosted car and it sure is a ton of fun. TL;DR Been around since 2010 2010 V6 to 2012 SS to 2017 Corvette to 2017 ZL1 I hope a lot of my old friends are still around but if not I welcome as many new ones as possible! Thanks for stopping by, please say hello!

Uploaded some pics!
My dad sold his white mustang probably 4-5 years back...he bought his new blue one just a few days before I bought the ZL1. He said I did it because I was scared he was going to be faster than the Corvette!
