With that gigantic Lexus spindle grill, it could be the fastest car on the road and I wouldn't want one.

IMO the LFA. Is an excellent car and can hold its own among the heavy hitters in the super car world. So it’s not really out of line compared to the the cats in its segment. That said, I wouldn’t buy one even if I had the money. I’m an American car guy and probably always will be.

Considering they are a luxury car, Lexus needs to rework their infotainment system badly.

My 2018 Camaro SS shares the garage with my 2009 Lexus IS-F. Although it's not an RC-F as the OP was asking about - It is in the Lexus-F family. The Lexus IS-F is most certainly not a dog. Anyone that says that, has never driven one in a track setting or is confusing it with the Lexus "F-sport". They are not the same thing. The Lexus xx-F has a 410-465+ HP 5.0L V-8, the F-sport has a v-6 and some decals.

Although my 1LE is a superior car on the track, it benefits from being a decade newer, with vastly improved suspension technology and wider/stickier tires. It SHOULD be better.

A more relevant comparison would be my 2012 Camaro SS (that I had before the 1LE) that had $4500 in suspension upgrades (PFadt Stage 4 with coil-overs). My 4 door "family sedan" IS-F (with bone-stock suspension) would run with it all day long. The only difference, is that the F has a usable trunk, and plenty of room for a car-seat for my 3 yr old daughter....oh, and it sounds better than my Camaro's.

The most relevant comparison is current gen Camaro vs current gen RC which is the topic of this thread.

I don't see anyone talking about the 09 IS apart from you.

Can’t get into the styling of the Lexus except the LC500, which is just too much $$. The SS and ZL1 are better performance values. The grill on the Lexus belongs on an electric razor.

I disagree. We had a '17 RCF. It was a dog. We traded it in on the Maserati, which too was a dog, so we traded that in on a C63 AMG. The wife is finally happy.
