I don't think you'll get away with running it, let alone making a pass, without a seat unless you figure out some way to spoof the onboard diagnostics.
I removed my passenger seat Friday at CF8 and ran the car all day. Put the seat back in and the code went away. Removed the seat again on Saturday ran the car. Re-installed the seat and all lights went out no issues. I didn't disconnect the battery.

I had a 100 lbs of un sprung weight. My drag pack was a huge savings. I added a 6 pt roll cage, about 70 lbs, took my rear seat out and saved 29 lbs. Then removed my passenger seat, so its a wash. My car and I weighed 3847 at the Camaro fest this year and my weight last year was 3850 with full interior, SC and drag pack. So I lost 3 lbs from last year. Dam must have lost some weight since last year. My belt seams to agree.

So this thread is like 3 years old. Reeve hasn’t been on since 9/2020.

But weight loss is always a good topic. Start a new thread.

But there's other weight loss threads. I have pulled the pass. and rear seats in the past to drop it into the high 3600s.

You have thread on this? Or did you just remove the seats?

There are numerous threads here on weight loss. At least one provides a detailed listing. No, I've done a lot more than remove seats, but can't recall all the items and weights off the top of my head. Some of the obvious items incl. battery, radiators, wheels, exhaust, seats, etc.
