Carbon fiber hood getting white spots. Can’t remove

So I’ve had my carbon fiber hood for about or almost a year now. And I recently just noticed these white spots on it. They “look” like water spots, but they are not. I can’t remove them. I tried washing the car and clay barring it. But can’t get it off.

Anyone know what this is? The cause of this? Or any remedies for this?
Thanks a lot fellas!

See if polish will take it out.

Gotta get the hood re-cleared.

See if you can contact him and find out who did the work for him. He's in SoCal as well.

If polishing won't solve the issue, you might need to wetsand it first using 3000 grit sandpaper.

I agree with cnrad. It looks like the clear is flaki ng off......or the carbon fibre itself is breaking down.

Once you get it corrected, be sure to apply a 3M clearcoat/bra to protect it. Most people don't think about that.
