Which is the best iPod?

Hi guys... my iPod touch sucks.. keep disconnecting every now & then.. hate it! I want to buy another one.. which one should i go for.. Classic, Shuffle or Nano.. I need the one that would work perfectly & charge in the same time!

Thanks guys.. appreciate it..

Disconnecting from what?

HashimAzzouz 09-25-2011 05:34 AM

Disconnecting from the Head Unit.. plugged but the Head Unit can't read the damn iPod touch.. I wounder if the nano charges though!

I have bothan I=touch and nano ad they work the same. If you turn the car off with the i-pod it, the i-pod does not turn off so the battery drains. Either turn the stero off off switch to radio before turning the car off and the i-pod will turn off and not drain.

Speak English much? That is directed to the responder. Just get a flash drive. That is directed to the OP.

My iPod touch seems to work fine

Assuming that it works with the Camaro (I have yet to test it out as my car is being built), I would definitely go with the Classic if you are a die-hard music lover. I bought a 160GB classic off of Ebay for a cheap price and its essentially a walking hard drive; you can fit FLAC music on it (typical songs range into the 40-50megs per song size) which stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, which is essentially the highest quality form of a song you can find. I invested in an expensive pair of headphones for it (Turbine Monster Gold) but the quality with the two investments together is unbelievable.

I would seriously encourage you to look beyond apple. There are better media players out there, for considerably less money. For your car, an earlier response was correct, get a flash drive. Cheapest option, you don't need an interface, since the car does that for you, and you can just leave it in the car.

I do have a I TOUCH and it works the way it was design , like some one said , you have to turn it off , or the I touch battery will go dead , and i am not a geek ,not even close !

If all of your music is purchased through itunes, I can see why you'd want to stick with apple.

I use my Nano in the car and have not had a problem with it. It's small and fits best in the console. My nano turns off (gen 5) by itself after no activity for some time.

Another vote for the classic. Simply because it's the largest capacity currently available on the market by a pretty wide margin. If you're compressing your music to MP3 or 4 and only using a couple of megs of space per song, it'll be all you ever need for life.

I have the Ipod touch and it works awesome. Not one problem ever.
