Good Job... like the blue color too..

A lot of people say get rid of the retro styling but I dig it. It's still the best selling car in its class.
|
What GM should do is keep the "Camaro Look" but make it a little more futuristic. For example, the whole masculine boxy look but with some subtle lines and maybe some bumblebee stly headlights and C7 style tailights. The problem with these renderings are the silver one is too futuristic and the blue one is just like the 5th gen, it would just be a refresh of the 2014.

Nope not this
|
Looks like it has lips and a little like the Mustang on the grill. The rest looks good but its not going in the direction it should. I think it should have more styling cues to the 2nd Gen.

Really like the first pic, loons totally different while still retaining the camaro look,
|
The only thing I can say about this "rendering" is it makes me think a few things,...
1 - It sure is a cute version of the '14 v5 Camaro I own. (hears "I like big butts and I cannot lie") Yes, I prefer my muscle cars wide and meaty, not trimmed and dainty. 2 - That kind of styling is what you want when you are losing sales and want to lure in the younger poorer crowd, that needs 30mpg. 3 - The commercial will say, "A camaro just for you. One you can own." Nothing like the commercial prior that says, "This Camaro will own you AND the road." I am sorry for the sour grapes, but I hope the Camaro doesnt start to look like the Toyota Camry. I want my Camaro to take up most all of the lane it is in, sound louder than any car nearby, and draw stares of envy, not of pity. I love the gen5 and what Chevy has done with it. |
I'm hoping for the 6th Gen we get something different that's obvious - So you can easily tell them apart.
If you can not tell them apart then it's not a new generation it's more like a twin. All most the same, born just a bit later. For some the difference will just go unnoticed and for the confused we will argue which one is it? |

First 6th gen rendering I actually like..
|
The grille, the hood and the chopped top are what make the 5th gen stand out. If all they do is shrink the dimensions slightly, it'll be fine.
But if GM messes with those 3 things, they might as well hand the crown the Ford and their fugly new Fustang. |
I read that little article about the 6th Gen being more like the 2nd Gen Camaro, now that is something I would like to see and buy ... And I definitely not interested in the "bloated" 2015 Crapstang .....
|
new = new platform so it'll be smaller, so anything off the current gen will not be worth speculating on, correct?
|
Nice, how you made the drawing come alive! We need the Retro 3rd Gen or 2nd Gen! I love the rendering pic of the Retro 3rd Gen!
