JANNETTY RACING LT1 SUPER STREET BRAWLER MAKES 725 RWHP 675 RWTQ E-85 9.2 PSI

I thought i posted this but I can't seem to find it LOL

2 weeks ago we ran the 80 mm 11.2 PSI pulley E-85 combo and made 726 RWHP 701 RWTQ but fuel pressure was dropping at 6400 RPM along with power.

Further testing last Friday with E-85 and larger 85 mm 9.2 PSI pulley revealed more power on the LT4 Fuel system components and fuel pressure is holding steady to 6800 rpm.

Awesome results.

So, its putting out the same power with larger pulley and Lt4 system? that's really great news.

It did give up 26 lbs torque at peak due to the lower boost but with a little tuning at 9.2 was able to easily make the 725.

I feel there is more in it with more timing but I am very happy with the results so we are going to leave it there for now.

Ted.

Needs to go to the track this spring to see if you can put that power to the ground with some slicks or drag radials.

Is there an aftermarket CAI? Other post doesn't say?

Factory Air box, I have it on the dyno right now with a Rotofab and will be reporting the results tomorrow.

Ted.

RotoFab give up any extra?

Also, what happened to piston explosion warnings when getting close to 650, as were reported by a number of reputable shops that were working on Z51's before the 2016 Camaro came out? Does our LT1 have revised internals? No more powdered metal soup cans that are prone to fracture?

If this is your customer delivery output that you think is reliable for a daily driver, I'm floored. The ZL1 buyers are in for a serious treat if they want to do a blower and pulley swap based on the data you're showing.

Nice Ted!

Yes sir 12 RWHP 12 RWTQ in back to back testing fully tuned.

Which forced us to run in to the fuel pump limit again on Straight E-85.

We mixed in 5 gallons of Gasoline for an E-66 and repeated the test Rotofab, VS stock air box. same results. 12 RWHP 12 RWTQ.

734 RWHP with Rotofab Red filter, we did not have a dry filter handy but expect about 3-5 more RWHP with a Dry filter.

Regarding your stock internal question Advantage LT-1 due to higher compression we don't have to lean on the engine as hard to make great power, With a solid part combo and a solid tune these numbers come very easy.

Notice only 9.2 PSI boost.

Ted,

Do you think you would see similar gains in this set up with pump gas?

As you reduce the alcohol content in the fuel the power will be reduced but the mileage will go up.

We made 675 with this exact package on 93 pump gas..

Ted.
