Another big problem with many cars was getting the tank full, especially if you had stuff in the trunk. On my 1963 Impala SS, I had to park on a downhill slope or have someone sit on the front fenders to fill it up.

The '63 Impala's fuel filler neck is high up on the left 1/4 panel. I've owned several '63 Impalas the including the wagon.

You're probably right and I just don't remember which vehicle had it behind the plate. Maybe the '66 Skylark or the '72 Skylark GS??? Definitely was a pain which ever one it was.

i have a feeling it will have very similar lines/styling cues as the transformers car... maybe not so much the headlight region but everything else would look AWESOME to me! getting more rounded yet sharp like an Astin Martin's body lines. To me it kinda looks like a blend of the new mustang and new camaro... which really isnt a bad thing at all.

Is it just me, or do the mirrors look absolutely huge on that car?

They look a little bigger (and more rounded) on the original spy shots in this thread, but not that big.

I thought the same thing. Almost as big as the side windows! Lol

Mirrors are probably big in order to accommodate blind-zone gizmos.

Those can't be the actual final mirrors.

Look at the mirrors on the mules running with the 5th gens, much smaller than the jumbo ears on that one.
