Hey Tim!
Long time, no see. There is a parade in Peoria this Saturday. Pioneer Days. Ralph has been asked if we want to be part of it and is organizing on behalf of our group. See the link on the Arizona All Gens site. Would be great to see you! I finally got my stripes painted on the Camaro. I got the Ghost pearl look we had talked about way back when. Looks pretty good. Anyway, hope to see you soon.
Hey Tim!
Haven't seen you around at the shows for a while so I went to put something on line so see what is up. Then I saw Nick's message. Glad to see everythings OK. Looking forward to seeing what you have done to the car! I finally got a polished CAI from Hennessey. Makes the car run a bit quicker.
Hope to see you soon!
Thanks Nick, everything is fine. Just real busy with work, Christmas, going to Notre Dame. We brought on a bunch of new accounts. We also have season tickets for the Cardinals so I have to stick around here on Saturday getting a bunch of house stuff done. My Dad is back in town to, so I've been spending some time down in Apache Junction with him. Just a lot going on.
It's a Roto-Fab. They're around $340 from ZZMotorsports. Just contact ZZCamaro on the camaro5 web site. He gives good deals. I bought a package of stuff from him. I got American Racing Long Tube Headers with high flow cats, X-Pipe, Borla S Type axle back kit mufflers and the Roto-Fab CAI for $2,435. My Roto-Fab was a bit more as I got the polished Stainless elbow. With just the borlas and the roto-fab the Camaro really came alive. I wonder if I even need the headers now. She sounds great and moves out a lot better. I think they say that the roto-fab will add 15-20 HP. With a tune and roto-fab it will ad 40 hp. The Borlas even add some HP.
I had the stripes painted on at the Sands Chevrolet body shop on Grand Ave. in Phoenix. The Manager's name is Bryan Bass. His number is 623-337-3827. The body shop is behind the dealership. It's actually on 54th ave. and Maryland.
I had the stripes painted on. With three coates of clear over them. I had them follow the factory stripes, but extend them onto the facia and over the spoiler and down the spoiler a couple of inches. Thanks for the nice comment.
