This sold ZL1 just arrived. This was the first VO that I was able to order and the first I've seen in person. I love it!

I saw one at a local dealer,amazing. Hard to describe indoors..almost copper like definitely not a bright orange. Bravest color in the line up IMO. I'm close to pulling the trigger on one(1LE), but the color is definitely not for everyone and that scares me down the line on resale.

I ordered an 2SS same color a couple of months back. Noticed the LPO ground effects, which I ordered too. How long ago did you order it ? I also was wondering if they put (VTD) them on and transported rather than the dealer.

Order it. 6 speeds and the off colors almost always go for more money down the line.


My 21 1LE is Crush Orange, don't be boring like so many with red, black, grey, refrigerator white............


Join the few the proud, the any orange variation of an F body. If I step up to a ZL1 1LE it'll be Vivid Orange since I cannot get Crush anymore.

I hear ya, had a 20 1LE in Rally Green and a 21 in Satin. This color is anything but bland, i'm sure folks that bought these in Shock had the same concern(funny how there are very few for sale to your point) I do think the aesthetic with the 1LE's in this flavor with the amount of black work best with this color for contrast.

Not sure how it will do down the road on the 6th gens, but on my 2001 SS this color(sunset orange metallic) gets a premium. Same for a WS6 Trans AM in this color.

GM has briefly sprinkled this color( or very close variations of) in with Vettes and Camaros for years and always end up being a rare color.

I had a 2000 Z/28 in red with a black top, but I always wanted an SOM one. They were virtually impossible to find though, and yes they absolutely commanded a premium.

This color is unreal in the sun. Look how the red pops out on the roof in the last shots. It changes quite a bit. Great color!

Yeah that might be my new favorite color. It really pops in the sun. Is it me or are the ZL1 wheels a lighter shade of grey than in previous years? I have been seeing some pics of 22's and they seem almost silver instead of the dark grey? Maybe it just the angles of the pictures I have seen.....

I think these photos are a bit off balance. Too bright, to be honest.

I was actually wondering the same thing. These wheels definitely looked slightly lighter to me in person. They're still dark gray but not quite as dark as previous ZL1s that we've gotten.
