Are you able to fit a set of 4 wheels/tires in your car?

Long story short, I'll be tracking a lot this year in a few area that aren't super close and the wife is up for a new vehicle. So I'm debating making her new vehicle a truck that's towing capable so I can tow the Camaro to track days if need be vs just having a set of street tires to drive long distances (and not chew through or potentially get a puncture on nicer/sticker/more expensive tires)...

So the question is - You track rats - Have you been able to put 4 wheels/tires (ideally 18x12 and 18x11, but let me know what you have) in your car with a jack, cordless impact and some basic tools (and maybe a small cooler for snacks and folding chair) in your camaro? If so, how? and how did it turn out? I assume you lost some rear-view mirror visibility?

Additionally I'll probably have a Schrader/Skid Mark Garage rear seat delete - so that should clear a little room

Pics welcomed

I was able to transport 2.. one in the passenger seat and one in the back seat. Stock 1LE sizes though. I can't imagine fitting four it, maybe 3 if you can somehow get one in the trunk.

Last time I needed to bring an extra set I put the camaro on the trailer

I just went out and 1/2 ass'd measured, small back seat 'n all. My tires are 26.4. It looks like 3 tires just might fit it you put them in the back seat(must be up) as the same orientation as on the car. Put one in the trunk. Tires are 11.5 wide. But both seats will need to be pushed forward.

sorry, but I'm not going to test fit...too much damn work. But give it a quick measure.

I was able to fit all 4 tires, front and rear sway bars, shocks, struts, springs, and stock air intake in my Camaro. They were SS sizing though, so doesn't fully answer your question.

I should add - I'll probably have a Schrader/Skid Mark Garage rear seat delete - so that should clear a little room

When I had 19'' 295/305 setup, all 4 wheels can be put in the car. One in the trunk, one on passenger seat and the other 2 on backseat. Larger than that, it seems difficult to put 1 in trunk or 2 on backseats.

However, even if you can carry all 4 wheels, there won't be to much space for floor jack and other tools. Since you have backseat delete, maybe you can fit 3 on backseat? Still, I feel it's a hustle to change wheels at track (Or maybe it's because I get up too late on track day)

With a harness bar, you can only get one in the back typically unless you pull the side bolts and fold it down to get a second one back there.

I was able to fit 4 19x10 wheels with 275 tires mounted. One in trunk, one in passenger seat, 2 in rear seat.

You can get a 325/30/19 on 12” in trunk if you remove the cardboard bottom insert (carpeted), foam tool holder from the trunk floor, the plastic trim over the the striker for the trunklid, and the striker. Just mark the striker bolts for proper alignment when you put it back.

Same deal for me but 19x10/11s with 305s on all 4. One in trunk and 3 in the back seat!!! To be fair I'm not a tall guy so that helped lol I stood one upright behind driver seat (had to scoot it up a tad, inch or 2) and then other two behind passenger seat laying flat, stacked 2 high.

ZL1 owner here doing autocross.

F: 305/30/19
R: 325/3019
Wheel style: 1LE

I can fit 1 wheel in the trunk with the rest of miscellaneous stuff needed for the race ( numbers, tools, duffel bag with crap in i). Rest of the wheels goals in back seat side by side with no problem but you need to have the front passenger seat slid forward in order to load them up. After that just slide the seat back as much as possible and you still have enough space for a small passenger or possibly a small Jack Jack Stands or other miscellaneous stuff you might need for a race.

When I got the car I was thinking about getting a tow hook made for a small custom trailer but after I have one or two events and being able to fit everything I needed for autocross I decided I'm better off that way.
