I'm considering pulling off the hood wrap and putting on a matte PPF instead.

I'd do satin to match everything else.

How’s it look? I’m having second thoughts now because of stories of it yellowing after some time.. and it’s most noticeable on white cars

Many say it's best to have it replaced after 5 years or so anyways as it can get difficult to remove if left on for a long time.

No worries at all about modern ppf yellowing before 5 years afaik. It's very clear, indistinguishable from the uncovered areas.

There's not too many options, Expel Stealth is all I'm aware of and I believe it is satin. IDK, not sure this is a great idea as the ppf for a hood costs about $300, or 2-3x that installed. Stock vinyl sticker is free.
