ported throttle body and warranty?

I was looking into the Tony Mamo ported throttle body mainly for the throttle response people talk about gaining especially with the M6. My question is will this void my warranty?

Keep thit old one if your really worried and swap them if you have to take it to the dealer, but you can’t even tell otherwise unless you actually pull off the intake tube.

A ported throttle body will not void your warranty. The dealer would never even notice it's ported. We have had a lot of success running V-Max systems.

If push came to shove, and your engine was damaged, and you didn’t replace it with the stock one before dropping it at the dealer......they absolutely could point to the TB being tampered with, causing an alteration in the intended metered airflow. You’d be proper ****ed. That’s IF they notice it. And IF they want to be assholes.

Like mentioned, keep the stock one handy to avoid this possible issue.

I understand matching the mating surfaces for smooth transition, but what are the real gains? we talking 5 HP or what? I would love to get my LT1 to have 100 more HP and still be able to pass mandatory emissions testing here in AZ. Trade up to a ZL1 is not an option here.

Yeah i think its somewhere around 5 peak hp. I am really after the increased throttle response that many people have said gets much better with his throttle body work. Allot have also said they can actually feel a power difference which may very well just be a placebo effect but ill take it even if it is placebo lol. He also offers a 100% money back guarantee so I don't see how I could go wrong.

I would contact Pray Performance and get both the Throttle Body and Intake Manifold ported. 15-17whp gains across the board.
