Anyone use/recommend a dash cam?

I was curious if anyone out there has any recommendations or feedback on dash cams. They seem like they are really useful and almost necessities. Thanks!

I have one in all of my cars and swear by them. I like this style: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SK8B47W..._TQAayb76WH8RN

I also have had one in every car for years. The one above seems ok and is dirt cheap. The one above also fits my first requirement: NO SCREEN. I want the camera only (for a small size).. It's recording when the ignition is on...Many of the also record when parked when the camera senses movement. You can't go wrong by trying the one above.

I'm still researching... Here is a good place to start: http://www.thedashcamstore.com/buyers-guide/

Waylens also makes a unit and I'm between that one and the new BlackVue

The blackvue seems to be in the #1 spot from all the review websites I've seen. I didnt need all the features of the blackvue so i went with one for a little less.

I just purchased this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...A2L77EE7U53NWQ

along with the hardwire kit
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ND4NV5BV96DMD9

I used this website for comparing model. They give you alot of great info on what all the features are of each and include a video clip of the front/rear cameras running in day and night. https://dashboardcamerareviews.com/

I was looking for one with front rear hd cam, gps, buffered parking mode and decent night time quality.

Huge fan of the Rexing V1 https://amzn.com/B00X528FNE
Small very discrete, reliable and cheap enough to swap if I have any issues. I use it with a 128GB card (records 23 hrs). Highly recommend to have it hardwired in. All my friends didnt notice it until I pointed it out.

I got a Blackvue single for my Vert. The newest model does WiFi and the cloud to store videos if you want. You can also purchase the battery tender so you can leave it in park mode all the time without any issues. Have been very pleased with it and highly recommend it.

I use https://www.amazon.com/SpyTec-A119-L...rds=viofo+a119, which is an updated version of the A118 referred to above - it is capable of 1440p, and is available with or without GPS ($10 difference). Personally I use it without the GPS.

The sales manager at Blackvue moved from "my" cameras (Bulls-I).. They look identical and I can't say enough good things... VERY small and mounts perfectly in back of the mirror. Here's a look at the picture quality.. Yes; this is mine but the Blackvue will be as good if not better. This shot is in the "park mode" with no ignition ( picks up movement)

I have 4 cams in my car, all Street Guardians. One SG9665GC and three SGZC12RC's, all have motion and g-sensor, and the RC's have a 5 second pre-buffer. Would have the RC for all 4, but it doesn't do gps or speed so I got one that does. The RC's are tiny, I have one mounted to the back of the rearview and you can't even see it from the inside. It's hardly noticable from the outside either, except at night because it has a green light. It would be easy enough to cover that up, but I actually prefer it visible.

The GC is in the rear and the other two RC's are magnetically mounted in the two little windows in the back. All are powered by one hard wired 12V power supply with built in BDP with a 4 way splitter.

Slight overkill, but I like knowing every angle is covered. I do most of my driving/parking in a college town, so many bad/inconsiderate/distracted/oblivious drivers/parkers, it would make your head spin.
