Got the New Keyhole Cover. Use It?
Okay, here's the freshly repainted keyhole cover with tabs intact (the one on the right). Just told the paint shop to let me have it. I'm kinda chicken to try installing it! The broken one stays on just fine, although it wiggles. Incidentally, the paint color matches just fine--the part comes black from GM, and the paint shop just happened to get a little more red on the backside than GM did at the factory.

I think I'd ride with the old one until if and when it fell off. Keep the new one in reserve.
