Do you leave the key in it? It's trying to tell you the key is still in it. I believe it will also do that if you leave it running and get out with the key.

No key in . The key fob is always in my pocket. Not ruuning either.

Usually means key still in the car. Should be able to go in via the MyLink, settings, vehicle settings, (can’t remember where after that) and turn off key reminder.

Sadly it specifies the color of the reflector as red.

Unlike with the sidemarkers, where it says it must reflect OR display a certain color, so I can get away with the smoked sidemarkers as they "display" the proper colors:
