They said they did not need CC brakes on the CTS-V, I guess they were considered, heard they said there is no issue with brake fade with the steel brakes on the CTS-V.

I agree with the idea of having it as an option - choices are great - forcing a 6K to 10K price increase is not a good thing on a GT car that can be and may or may not be tracked. The current Z/28 is a track focused car, and that's what people are buying them for, so ok, it makes sense for that.

More options the better. Who would of thought you would see a 120k Z06 in 2001 when they brought it back.

After looking at the pics closer I think the track car has the 15.4 brakes from the Gen 3 Cts-V. Non carbon. Maybe they will still offer them in a package.
