I see somewhere in the high $50k range for a LT4 Camaro.
Hope we see high 50k for the next ZL1 but I'm betting 65k

If you define high 50s as $59,999.95 and upwards to 65k I would agree.

(But it will be worth every penny.)

With all this horsepower..........I DON'T WANT SS anymore.i mean in 5gen,the horsepower difference between SS and zl1 didn't worth the extra money(my opinion)but with this one its just hard to be satisfied with your SS when you know you could get about 300HP more with about 15k(hope so).but the only thing we can do right now is wait, when do you guys think chevy will reveal zl1?late 2016?

If you have 60k plus to spend on a car not sure why you were considering an SS in the first place. The whole idea of a Camaro SS is to be a " poor mans corvette" and offer great performance value for the dollar.

Btw if you're comparing starting prices the difference will be more like 25k (~35k to ~60k) for 200hp ( not 300) and obviously a lot more than just the hp will come along with it.

If that's worth it to you and you have the money... Then by all means wait.

In my opinion a cam and bolt on SS will keep up with an lt4 zl1 for a lot less money. But then you have a modded car that is worth less with no warranty. Just depends on your future plans and what you're looking for etc.

For me the SS model with mods has always been the right choice for my price range and what I'm looking for/going to do with it etc.

If so, that is very likely to have it going head-to-head with the next integration of Ford's GT500.

bolt ons can anything from simple additions like exhaust, headers, intake, manifold, tune, to more serious stuff like new heads and cams.

I'm a little reluctant to say a bolt on (even with heads/cam) would run right with an LT4 Camaro, but it would be lighter by a few hundred pounds...maybe?

I'd say 500 - 550 rwhp is doable with those kinds of mods. An LT4 Camaro should be throwing down 580 - 600 rwhp stock I'd guess.

Did anyone else notice how soft that 60ft was? The zl1 at that same weight was able to launch harder. This makes me think that once its in the hands of private drivers the 60' will fall along with the et's. Could we see some 10sec mine shaft air hero runs? Maybe.
