I do have to say, even with the camo, that looks mean as hell.

What I see is a narrower Camaro. I can see a new ATS/CTS? Caddy profile in those picks. If you picture the car without the " Camaro" panels on the car and you look at the roofline you will see what I am seeing. The reason the car IS narrower is because it is sharing the same platform as the Caddys. With that said the car looks good. I am not worried about the rear and front light configuration because it is too early to see those final details. I am curious if the split nose will stay or as someone else mentioned it could be the placement of the bow tie. Only time will tell. It looks very similar to the current generation Camaro only narrower.

LOTS OF PADDING STILL!!

After the 4th & 5th time of looking at these pictures, there is still TONS of padding on this car.

The hood edge sticks up all the way around.

the roof sticks out over the side windows by over an inch.

look at the close up of the front side profile, it still has about an inch of padding on it....

NO WAY GM WOULD MAKE A BAD HOOD FOR THIS CAR. THEY HAVE MADE TOO MUCH PROGRESS WITH DOWN FORCE AND HEAT EXTRACTION TO MESS IT UP ON THE NEXT GEN!

It appears they are trying to make it look like a hatch back, but I think that is all fake as well......

I know some have complained about the front lower opening, but I hope it is that big.... That tells me GM is taking the performance level of this car to the "next" level. That allows for more air in for oil/liquid cooling, more potential for more down force..

The flaring of the fenders really give it a menacing stance, I really like what I see thus far.

I'm with Jason so far, but will reserve final judgement until the finished product. Why we needed a gen6 already, i don't understand, but hey, let's hope it's nice

Personally, I'm going to try and avoid forming an opinion on what it looks like until I see one that GM decides to show us.
This. Too hard to tell yet.

I know I had my mixed reactions when the 5th Gen shots were first revealed and have grown to like that car (not as much as my 69 RS but still one that I would like in my garage). The 6th Gen shows promise and that GM is not wanting to water down the agressive styling of the Camaro and will continue to kick Mustang tail lights. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
Totally agree. We'll know soon enough.

You can tell from those pictures there is still a lot of padding. Look at the way the center brake light sticks out in the back. Obviously stuck on top of some extra plastic or foam material.

I see a little of what you're saying....

And I'm also digging that huge opening. Imagine how nice a huge air to air intercooler fed by a couple of twins would be.
