LED Driving Lights

I'm a big fan of lights for being able to see and for being seen. I've mounted auxiliary LED running lights on all my motorcycles and Silverado.

Are there any kind of aftermarket driving or flood lights that would work on the Camaro without spoiling the looks? Would it be possible to mount lights in the triangular spots in the front?

There are already driving lights there, in the circle, why do you think a second set would make a difference in the same spot?

the lights that are already there are LED running lights and whenever I pass another Camaro RS/SS/ZL1 they are always on and visible, even in bright daylight. I have also never had a problem with the standard headlights at night.

Except it is an EU model. But it’s clearly an US with DRL. So why another set.

What kind of lights are you really talking about? Driving lights are high-powered lights to light up the road a long distance at night. Running lights are low-powered lights that help other drivers see you on the street. And flood lights are useful for Jeeps running Baja at night.

American authority will be coming out with this grill led set up but in white soon. That might be an option.

Good question.
Ideally, I'd like a small spot or flood that projects light way down the road and provides enough ambient light to illuminate the shoulders and beyond. We live and drive in a rural area where there are deer (and bear!) galore and I'd like to avoid hitting one in my beautiful Camaro.

A decent set of fog lights might work too.

I'd also settle for something like the American Authority in white if I thought it projected enough light to make it worthwhile. That looks nicely integrated.

Tonight was the first time we drove in the dark in the Camaro on back roads. Admittedly, the headlights are good and the high beams are very good. I'm just looking for a little more, as long as it looks clean.

Is there a way to retrofit them to an EU model? I hate the gap where the light would be.

Yeah, you can buy the us lights and the right cable harness to install the drls in the bumper in EU models. Since you're from Switzerland, all the needed parts can be found in the german camaro forum.

Agreed, fog lights would be a help.
