When you get ON IT?
I've got the 2021 LT1 with (for two more months) the stock all seasons and 245's front and back. As Joe Raiti would say, when i'm "ON THROTTLE" the car gets a little loose on the front end. I'm not talking about putting power to the ground on the rears where that is expected to move around. I'm talking about the front end not tracking straight. And i'm wondering if the SS's do this, or if the 245's, or the air dams under the front bumper are contributing to this "instability" we'll call it.
Additionally, I plan on removing the air dams when my front splitter goes on also. Curious what you guys have experienced when doing the same.. Maybe the front end is getting light under acceleration? thanks All! Great website i'm on way too much! |

My 2SS tracked straight as an arrow at WOT on the factory 245's even with the supercharger (not for long, I went wider soon afterwards). IMO the front end is not supposed to wander on acceleration at all... I'd get the alignment checked, it may have "walked".

Are you sure this isn't cold-related? You're further north than me and I have all kinds of traction issues in the winter.

Could be cold related. I have not even driven this car in warm weather yet. it's 20-30 degree F everyday around here.
