2.0t front brembo caliper conversion ??
I have a 2018 2.0t RS with the standard brakes...what would I have to buy in order for the FRONT 4 piston brembos to fit?
Also...do the 6 pistons require more than the 4 pistons or the same? Thanks! |

Depends on the type you buy, there’s 2 types of 4 Piston brembos that were made. LT which uses the same rotor size as the single piston and SS which uses larger rotors.
If you got a LT 4p kit then all you need is the calipers, banjo bolts/washers and maybe caliper bolts. The SS kit would need all that as well as the larger rotor size. I’m probably missing something but that’s off the top of my head. The 6 Piston uses a even larger size rotor but essentially the same as above.

To get an idea of what's involved with upgrading, here's a link to the Chevy Brembo Brake upgrade. This link includes instructions as well.
https://accessories.chevrolet.com/pr...tegoryId=98070 I believe you can probably find kits from ZZPerformance, Phastek, or other sites for cheaper. |
