this is my first set of supercar3 with 5 track days and about 3000 street miles on them now -2 camber front and rear and .05 toe just wanted to see what you guys thought about them so far? i have another set in my garage ready and im doing a ongrid super gt cup so i was going to change them out before then


would you keep these or trash them or sell them? i thought i would kill them this last weekend at fontana but they are alive ! these things are tanks haha

There is quite a bit of usable tread left on those tires. 5 track days and 1000 street miles isn’t a lot for these tires. I wore out my first set after 8k street miles, about 800 miles on Big Willow, a few autocrosses, and a time trial on WW2 era asphalt.

There is plenty of life left in those. The outer tread block pattern is not cut as dep as the circumferential grooves, so it goes smooth faster than the rest of the tire. Check tread depth in the holes.

plenty of life in them i agree from what people said but my next day is actual comp not just a hpde day so im going to replace them maybe keep or sell them not sure anybody want some slighty used never tracked tires? haha

I run to the cords. If your going to a track that has onsite garage support just take the set of tires with you “just in case” but it looks like you have quite a bit left.

they do have a shop at the next one buts its about a 3 hour drive each way

I got that. I’m not sure if you will be quicker on new tires. Sure the compound is softer and it’s fresh rubber, but if it’s full depth you will have more tread squirm. It’s a trade off. Now if you were to shave the new tires, I’d say you’d be quicker. Fwiw, my lap times don’t change much from new to 80% gone.

as for tires well see last time i went on my bday it was these same tires and oem pads


changing over to fresh tires and hawk dtc60 pads and more spl parts so well see what happens

You saw my answers on your FB page, I'll back the answers up all day here. They are fast all the way till the cords don't bother changing even though this is a TT.

haha thanks its just the drive im worried about 3 hours there track all day 3 hours home
