I'm still looking for this year's wood finishing series. Have absolutely loved the past 2.

I'm back and forth between Woodford Reserve and Jefferson Reserve. Jefferson is winning out right now. Haven't tried the Jefferson Ocean yet - sounds a little gimmicky to me. Jack is always my go to, stand by.

I have a small bottle of Jefferson Ocean. Its not bad, it definitely has a unique flavor. A slightly salty front, very charred oak, with a slight burn on finish. A little to pricey imo.

Old Forester 1897. First time trying this one. Not sure about it, yet.

2015 Uncle Jacobs barrel aged stout.
Had it last night and this 6 year old 16.9% ABV beer was unbelievable. I still have one bottle left... $2.00 an ounce ain't cheap either |

Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve. Also, trying this for the first time. Not sure it is any better than "regular" KC small batch, just higher proof (120).

I do not care much for the higher proof Old Forrester expressions in the series as they seem to be just "hotter" in my opinion. This one is just right. |

The Immortal Viking and 2 Tun Heavy Thing are my new go to. BrickTree Brewing Co makes some good beers.
