That looks absolutely insane (In a good way of course)! I will say it would make sense if this car got a version of the engine from whatever the upcoming Corvette is*. It will definitely be interesting to see.

*According to a reliable source, there is a higher HP Corvette coming (possibly during the Detroit Auto Show) that's been testing. Chevy is definitely holding back some big surprises for sure.

Extreme aero, carbon ceramic brakes, steamroller tires... This is not a kinder, gentler Z/28. Nothing about this car suggests volume sales is the goal. Chevy is doubling down on the gen5 Z/28 strategy of maximum performance.

I'm blown away by the entire gen6 line. Team Camaro has been let off its leash. Wow! Just wow!

It was suggested those might be 19" rims....then those look like 16" brakes!

I think because the last gen had them, now maybe when the specs come out. The size of the wheel would help, they fill it in pretty well.

Is that some kind of aluminum skid plate under the front splitter?

And maybe the spoiler is intended to raise and lower based on these photos and notice the grill. It appears the headlights are the same also. If you look at the spoiler from behind it looks like it pretty much matches the out line of the body.

Is it beautiful? Depends.

There is aesthetic beauty, and there is technical beauty. One makes designers gush, the other makes engineers gush. Each is normally obvious in its own right. The former appears flawless, while the latter's apparent flaws are actually its strengths. The Z/28 is, and forever should be, in the latter category. The best thing to look at with it will be its lap times, not beauty shots.

God damn. It looks aggressiveeeeeee! I just will hate that it will be strictly for track usage.

If this is LT4 powered, then there's really no reason to call it Z/28. It might as well be a ZL2 package or R package or super duper awesome package on the ZL1.

I don't consider wheels, tires, shocks and aero enough to be a different model. If it was, the 1LE would be a stand alone model.

So when the ZL1 was first spotted testing at the track, it debuted about 6 months later (?). Guessing we might see a production scheme car at Christmas or in January at the NAIAS?. Possibly at Chicago Auto show since that seams to be the more prevalent show for Camaro debuts....
