I wouldn't beat the hell out of it on 87 by any means.
I wouldn't worry about adding some 87 into the tank on a road trip on easy cruising miles either. I would not want to get a tank of pure 87 in it however. It's not going to kill it or anything, but you will star pulling a decent amount of timing due to knock. Run 91 or 93 depending on what is available to you. If your on a trip and not an idiot blending it out with some cheaper stuff is no cause for concern. |
