Already purchased all the required hazmat to include antiseize for the crank hub and locktight but I will use your recommendation of finding the high temperature version of the blue to play it safe. Thanks again!
Let us know how it goes, and please take pictures if possible!

Quick update as i said screw it for now. Ill do this again in the spring when im not aggravated lol. Removed accesory belt and tensioner super easy. With motor in neutral, turned the motor manually and walked off old ac belt very easy. Breaking the old crank bolt loose was took a bit of ass. First tried 5th gear and found it to mushy as it allowed alot of backwards movement in the motor however with it in 4th (1:1) it was much better. Now the problems:

1. The autozone rental chrysler style 3 jaw puller will not work stock. The jaw size is fine however it comes with a shorter and longer rod. The longer rod is nowhere near long enough to even get the remover fully tought none the less actually pull anything. In addition, the bolt that threads through the jaw of the puller was slightly cross threaded so i advise to run the threads through by hand while your still in the auto store. Secondly the autozone rental long reach installer will require as far as i can see the removal of the fans. Not that i got that far but while im sitting here drinking i decided to take a look at it and it wont even angle correctly to get to the crank hole(at least with the oem pully still on but that tells me trying to angle it to get it out after seating the ati could be a pita. We are having the snowpocalypse here in st louis right now otherwise id walk to lowes to see if maybe they have a thin barstock solution i could maybe cut to size to use the puller succesfully.

Anyways in short just providing some good lessons learned. Now ill go wrestle the ac belt back on and find the maf screw i dropped in the bay..and drink.

Is this an NHRA rule or track rule or what? Never heard of this and my last car was going 8s on the stock one and no one ever said a word.

Larry, I'm glad I did it. Do I feel anything different? No. ATI claims that it adds a little (8-12 hp) to the WHP. I have read in the NHRA rule book that it is a requirement if you go 10.99 or quicker. Has a tech inspector ever said anything about it to me, no.

Bottom line to me is just peace of mind that the harmonics of the rotating mass in the engine is protected, I'm playing by the rules, and, just maybe, this along with a lot of other little things I've done make the car a tenth faster.

I have one on mine...it came with my Whipple kit. Can not say if it adds anything. I am sure it's a better piece then the stock unit. Pretty sure I seen another thread a while back where it made 8-9whp gain.

It smooths out the nvh from the engine into the cab. Car doesn’t go slower with it.
