Easy routine.

I know everyone has their opinions, but I gotta share this! I have tried a lot of different washes, waxes, etc... over the past couple of years. I gotta say, for a DD, Megs D11501 and Ultimate Fast Finish once every 6 to 8 months is plain out hard to beat!

I do the 11501 routine about every 2 weeks and keep it in the garage. I get constant compliments out in public. As an added bonus, the UFF literally takes about 20 minutes to do the whole car. I just did it today.

Easy and effective. I am sure there are "better" solutions, but for my time and money, this is sure to impress 99% of the folks you meet. The other 1% can feel free to give a me demo detail for free... 😀

Sounds like a nice product. What dilution ratio do you follow?

I think that I am at a 4:1 ratio water to D115. With the Blackfire sprayer that I got on Autogeek (48 oz. I think) I can do the entire car twice. That is being fairly liberal with the application. That means I should get about 20 washes from a gallon jug.

They say that you can do a 8:1 ratio on it just as well, but I don't want to push it that far. For a QD you can go to 20:1.

The UFF is just a wipe on wipe off product. You don't even spray it directly on the paint! I figure that a can will last at least 4 applications, maybe more?

You pretty much can't go wrong with Meguiar's. But if all you're doing is a wash/wax combination every 6-8 months, you're leaving your paint unprotected most of that time. Even every two weeks, it won't protect as well as a good sealant.

This looks like some good stuff to use as a maintenance detailer spray. Are you using it to maintain your wax/sealant base or as your only product for protection?

The UFF is a sealant. That goes on about once every 6 months. They claim a year... so I err on the safe side.

The D11501 is a wash and wax and I do that about once a week or two depending on the weather and how much I drive it.

After messing around with other items, I think that this is the easiest routine that still gives excellent performance that I have found. Now if I can find an interior detailer that doesn't smell I would be golden! The Ultimate Interior Detailer by Megs works great, but smell like a locker room...

It is basically a Spray On Wipe Off product that cleans and waxes all in one process. It is a Waterless Wash and Wax, so you can do it pretty much anywhere. So far I have had good results and haven't noticed any swirls or scratches.

Absolutely agree.

Adams Wash/Coat is even easier, because you don't have to do a panel at a time.
It lasts 9 weeks though, vs. 12 from Hydrofoam.

Nice to be able to wash/rinse/dry and be done.
