Missing options in settings after routine service
Hey guys, just took my 2019 SS 1LE in for its complimentary oil change and tire rotation(They also realized that they forgot to remove the spacers on my front suspension, so that's a huge upgrade). I'm guessing it it got a firmware update because I noticed when I go to the settings menu its a bit different. The biggest change is now when I go to the Vehicle tab, I cant manually adjust engine sound, suspension or steering like I used to be able to. Seems like a weird thing to remove. Anyone else run into this issue?
Edit: nevermind, for whatever reason turning it on and off fixed it. I'm a moron. Last edited by Xile; 01-21-2020 at 07:01 PM. |

I have the same issue with my 2017. Sometimes when I start my car, the driver mode options disappear on my radio. So I cant adjust the suspension, steering, or exhaust. The only fix that I have found is to shut the car off and wait a few minutes. Simply restarting the car right away foes not resolve it. I got my car tuned a couple months ago, and it started happening to me, so I dont think I can take it in for dealer work. I suggest you bring it up to them, in case it because a problem for more people.

Incredible to hear that this software glitch made it into the next major infotainment version in 2019's...
This intermittent issue of some settings that disappear seemingly randomly has been brought up several times, and remote starting the car dramatically increases its likelihood (I know this doesn't apply to the 1LE). I've only ever seen it once or twice on my 2018, though. The solution to remote start triggering the problem was to press the unlock button first on the key fob, before pressing lock and then start. I guess if it occurs with normal in-car startup, the only recourse is to stop and start the car again. Additonal input is welcome, if anyone has more info

That has me thinking, is the radio setup different than the ecu? I'm wondering if it could still fall under warranty with a tune, since only the ecu and fueling pump was changed. The head unit may be part of a different system and be warranty able lol hmmmm.
