best thing I did for the car

I also ordered some pucks and use them to actually do the jacking and then I use the lift points to rest on the jack stands

I can have all 4 wheels of the ground in less than 10 minutes

Nice. What pucks did you go with? My jack stands are V shaped. i have a pad on my floor jack so think it would be OK

I use two stacked on one another to clear the body work...
also I bought rubber protectors at harbor freight for my jack stands
sorry don't have a link for that

ill add pics one of these days but I put the lift points furthest away from each other and then there is another jack point I use with the pucks

Those ones on Amazon do you have to stack 2 or will 1 clear the plastics?

I ordered 2 sets of ZL1 Add-ons Jack Pads and use 1 full set to support the Jack stands and 2 more pads mounted to the floor jack points works great. No need for pucks.

I just put on my ZL1 lift pads without lifting the car. Let's just say that was a pain. It is not easy to do while laying on the ground.

To me the jack points are must have mods on this car! The pinch weld is so far recessed that its pretty unreachable without some sort of jack point.

It's like a slut running loose in hell just trying to get our car off the ground.
We have to purchase this and that. The correct jack. The correct stands. The correct adapters.

It's all to blame for that aluminum cross member up front... Do we even have a cross member up front underneath all that plastic?
I don't understand it. I lifted my C6 Vette from the aluminum CM at the front several times.
Has anyone removed the plastic to see what we're working with?
I would use two floor jacks at the same time to lift my C6 Vette straight off the ground.
Rear Dif and the Aluminum front CM.
One Jack in the rear, one in the front.
Set her down on the stands with aluminum pucks in the factory keyed fittings.
